Session Description: AWB’s incoming Government Affairs Director for employment law and policy will present a highlight at what’s in store for the 2026 Legislative Session in Olympia, including upcoming bills and a look inside the process.

Presenter(s) Description:

James Crandall is AWB’s lead on legal affairs and employment & labor law. He joined AWB in 2025. He previously worked for 12 years with the Washington State Senate Republican Caucus, where he served as Senior Staff Counsel and policy lead for the Capital Budget and the Senate Labor & Commerce Committee. James earned a bachelor’s degree in international affairs from George Washington University and a J.D. from the Seattle University School of Law. Prior to law school, he worked for six years at a leading Washington, D.C. government relations firm.
