Session Description:  Come learn what legislation we might see in the 2025 legislative session, and how you can best prepare your organization now for the changes to come. The presentation will also include a brief update on current state agency rulemaking and relevant litigation.

Presenter(s) Description:

Lindsey Hueer is AWB’s government affairs director for labor, employment law and immigration. She joined AWB in 2024.

Lindsey has over 10 years of experience working with the Washington State Legislature. Prior to AWB, Lindsey worked as a lobbyist with the Association of Washington Cities, as well as serving as staff counsel to the Washington House of Representatives focused on labor and employment issues. Lindsey began her career in private practice, representing self-insured employers in Washington workers’ compensation cases. She has also taught business law at Clark College.

Lindsey grew up in the Pacific Northwest and received her bachelor’s degree in international studies from the University of Washington and her J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland. She lives in Camas with her family.
